The monthly money roundup is a curation of my favorite personal finance articles over the past month. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
This is a very important article. I have found that many families that I meet with have no idea what the difference is between a tax deduction and a tax credit. This is a great, quick read that explains it perfectly.
This article will show you how one simple step can help you fix your cash flow issues: change the due dates on your bills.
It’s maddening to me that financial education isn’t taught in schools. This is something that is as important, or more important, than any of the main school subjects.
Kudos to former NFL and Notre Dame star, Justin Tuck. He is working on helping low-income and minority children learn about personal finance.
Great article that shows that you don’t need to have a huge salary to become a millionaire. You need to make saving a priority and stick to it. Simple steps and discipline can help you become a millionaire.
It was great that I stumbled upon that last article. It goes hand in hand with the book I been enjoying. I have recently been listening (via Audible) to the book “The Millionaire Next Door” by William D. Danko and Thomas J. Stanley. It gives a great look into how normal people reach millionaire status. It shows the discipline these people have and their everyday habits that help them build wealth. I highly recommend it.
